My Therapeutic Style & Approach:
Hey there! I’m Karina Spinder, a Licensed Social Worker in the state of Pennsylvania, with a passion for helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and rediscover their inner strength. My
goal is to offer a supportive, judgment-free space where clients can feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful change in their lives.
I specialize in working with children, teens, and adults facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, trauma, emotion dysregulation, and interpersonal and family dynamics. I also support clients during periods of emerging adulthood—those pivotal years marked by identity development, shifting relationships, and increased responsibilities. Whether you’re navigating personal struggles, feeling stuck, or simply need a place to process, I’m here to walk alongside you with empathy and guidance.
My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each individual. I draw from a strengths-based and humanistic perspective, using evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). I believe that each person brings a unique story and set of strengths to the therapeutic process, and I tailor my work to meet your individual needs and goals. I offer both in-person and virtual sessions, and strive to create a safe, trusting relationship where healing can happen.
You don’t have to have it all figured out to begin. If you’re ready to take that first step, I’d be honored to walk with you.
