My Therapeutic Style & Approach:
Welcome! I admire your courage to reach out for help because I know that starting therapy can feel daunting. I view therapy as a journey of self-reflection with my role as your therapist to be a guide. You choose the direction or destination, and I will help you to navigate life’s challenges and tribulations. I am excited to go on this journey with you! I hope to provide a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental space for you to process your feelings.
I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, and self-harm in teenagers and young adults. Each client is unique, so I tailor my therapeutic approach to meet individual needs and goals, drawing from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
My therapeutic style integrates a person-centered and strengths-based approach. My goal as your therapist is to meet you where you are at in that moment and utilize your current strengths to persevere. I believe in the importance of collaboration and transparency in the therapeutic process, working together with clients to foster insight, resilience, and personal growth.
I also truly believe that therapy is not just about processing life’s challenges; I want to be there for your wins and successes too!
